Good Energy Balls

The kids LOVE these!!! (PS, remember, we're just big kids!) This recipe makes about 20 bites

Mix 1/2 C sunflower butter & 1/2 C Almond Butter

(Trader Joe's brand Sunflower Butter is perfect!)

Mix with 1/3 C Raw Honey

Then add

1 C dry oatmeal

Optional: 1/2 mini morsels chocolate chips (They're plenty sweet without the chocolate so we omit this ingredient)

Scoop about 1 Tbsp size and roll into a ball

We store them in the fridge, in a glass container that closes tight. They last in the fridge for 1 week and the freezer for 1 month....but at our house, they've never lasted that long. At our house, we always have a batch with the combination 1 Jar of Almond Butter and 1 Jar of TJ's Sunflower Butter. We use that as a base for MANY recipes, including this one.

The standard at our house has become the following

1 Full Jar of Almond Butter

1 Full Jar (Trader Joe's)  Sunflower Butter

1C Honey

3C Oats

Feel free to add more or less oats to shift the moisture/consistency.
